Privacy Policy
Last updated July 22, 2026
This policy explains what information the Remu Press website collects, how we use it, and your choices. Remu Press is a division of Remu Technologies LLC (“Remu,” “we,” “us”), based in Plano, Texas.
The short version: our site is largely static. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run advertising trackers, and the only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us.
What we collect
- Information you submit. When you send a book query or a careers inquiry, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Basic technical data. Our host (Netlify) automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to operate and secure the site. This is ordinary server logging, not advertising tracking.
- A theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, we store that choice locally in your browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device. See our Cookie notice.
How we use it
- To read and respond to queries and inquiries you send us.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Forms and spam protection
Our forms are handled by Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us. Netlify applies spam filtering, which may include a hidden field and automated checks, to keep out bots. Netlify processes this data as our service provider; see Netlify’s own privacy terms for how they handle it.
How long we keep it
We keep query and inquiry submissions only as long as needed to consider and respond to them, and to keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve sent us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the GDPR. To make a request, write to sales@getremu.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some of our books are written for readers 12 and up, but the website itself doesn’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
