Remu Press is an independent imprint publishing serious, accessible writing on how powerful systems get made, who decides what they become, and what it takes to build them well.

Founding

Remu Press is the publishing division of Remu Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company founded in 2025 and based in Plano. The press was established in 2026 with the publication of its first title, Powerful Enough: How Star Wars Prepared Us for AI.

What we publish

Our list sits at the intersection of technology and the human questions it raises. Early titles concentrate on artificial intelligence and its cultural impact, with the list extending into business, education, and fiction.

We publish writing that takes technology seriously without requiring a technical background to read. That means books that explain how systems are actually built, what the tradeoffs are, and who is making the decisions — written for a general reader rather than a specialist audience.

Editorial standards

Every Remu Press title is held to the following:

• Verified sourcing. Claims are checked against primary sources. Our first title underwent a chapter-by-chapter citation audit prior to publication, in which every reference was independently confirmed and corrected where necessary.
• Named human authorship. A named author is accountable for the accuracy, originality, and voice of every book we publish. See our AI and authorship policy.
• Complete bibliographic records. Our titles carry registered ISBNs and Library of Congress Control Numbers, and are catalogued for library and retail distribution.
• Fair-use discipline. Where our books engage third-party works for commentary and criticism, that engagement is deliberate, attributed, and confined to what the doctrine permits.

Independence

Remu Press is independently owned and operated. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any technology company, media rights holder, or institution discussed in our titles. Our books are funded by the press and sold directly to readers.

Educational use

Classroom material is a deliberate part of the list rather than an afterthought. A Teaching Companion accompanies Powerful Enough, with dual-track lesson frameworks for middle and high school classrooms, and forthcoming titles are being developed with classroom use in view.
